Black Sabbath -- Paranoid

Finished with my woman 'cause she couldn't help me with my mind
People think I'm insane because I am frowning all the time

All day long I think of things but nothing seems to satisfy
Think I'll lose my mind if I don't find something to pacify

Can you help me occupy my brain? Oh yeah

I need someone to show me the things in life that I can't find
I can't see the things that make true happiness, I must be blind

Make a joke and I will sigh and you will laugh and I will cry
Happiness I cannot feel and love to me is so unreal

And so as you hear these words telling you now of my state
I tell you to enjoy life I wish I could but it's too late}}

Advice
By Sandie Farrell
"I tried to kill myself," she said
And showed her damaged wrist.
"Oh what a pity" we all laughed,
"A pity that you missed".
"Try sharpening the blade next time,
And cut it sideways too.
Don't think we're being nasty,
We're only helping you.
Or have you tried an overdose?
That might give more success
You'll die within an hour,"
We chortled, "more or less".
We didn't really mean it,
Didn't think she was for real.
We thought her wounded ego
Would very quickly heal.
We didn't know she meant it
'Til she said, "Well I just might.
Next time I try to kill myself
I'll try to get it right".
"Yes, you do that," we laughed,
"But do it right," we said.
"This time tomorrow morning,
Be sure that you are dead".
And when she said "I will be"
We hardly even heard.
But she did and now we wish
That we could take back every word.
For we didn't know she meant it
And now we've paid the price
For we know that she took heed
Of our thoughtless, harsh advice.
